Coffs Harbour Transition Back To Council

Sept Newsletter Headers (35)

Over the past 2 years, we have been humbled by the support of the local Coffs Harbour, Woolgoolga and Sawtell communities and want to take this opportunity to thank those who have been through this journey with us.

Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen circumstances and the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Lane 4 Aquatics is unable to continue with the operation and management of the local aquatic and recreation facilities. Coming into this partnership with the council, we had some large ambitions to provide a suite of services to the community to increase participation and strive to provide opportunities for increased community

Lifestyle, Health and Wellbeing. We are proud of what we have achieved in a short time within the community, delivering over 60,000 aquatic education lessons, increasing participation across the region and implementing many capital improvements across each facility.

Whilst we are disappointed with the final outcome, our main focus throughout this transition process has been about minimising the impact on our dedicated team,

particularly with the pandemic already creating uncertainty. The community will continue to see the local faces at each facility, with many of our key staff remaining with council to ensure the continuity of the service is maintained. We thank the council for their work throughout this period.

Lastly, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our entire team across the region for the support and dedication to our business and the local community and wish you all the best into the future.

Kind Regards,

Daniel Mulvey,
Lane 4 Aquatics
Managing Director
