Conditions of Entry

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. Children under the age of 15 must be closely supervised by a parent/guardian at all times whilst within the facility.
  2. Children under the age of 6 MUST be actively supervised (within arm’s reach) by a parent/guardian over the age of 18 whilst within the facility, you may be asked to leave the facility if the supervision of your child is not sufficient.
  3. Lifeguards are not babysitters; the safety of your children is your responsibility.
  4. Only recognised swimwear is permitted within the swimming pools.
  5. All infants must have a swim nappy whilst swimming in all pools within the facility.
  6. Walking only at all times within the facility.
  7. City of Coffs Harbour Pools are non-smoking venues.
  8. Please observe all pool rules upon entry.
  9. Patrons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry to the facility.
  10. Patrons attempting to gain entry without paying will be prosecuted and refused entry in future.
  11. Patrons are not permitted to bring glass objects, weapons or alcohol into the facility. (Patron bags may be searched.)
  12. Abusive, disruptive or offensive behavior and language are not permitted (offenders will be removed from the facility)
  13. No pets or animals are permitted in the facility except for guide dogs.
  14. Only City of Coffs Harbour Pool Staff are permitted to conduct, Learn to Swim, Squad Coaching, Private lessons and Fitness Sessions within the facility, unless otherwise approved by management.
  15. Cameras and mobile phones are NOT permitted within the change rooms
  16. City of Coffs Harbour accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings.
  17. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any patron. Failure to comply with the conditions of entry may result in removal from the facility, repeat offenders will be suspended as per the facility discipline procedures.
  18. If your child requires a flotation aid whilst swimming, we strongly advise the parent/guardian is in the water with the child.
  19. In the interest of hygiene for all patrons spitting is not permitted within the facility.
  20. Please be familiar with the facility pool rules. Running, Bomb diving, back or front flips, sitting or leaning on lane ropes and flags, littering or unruly behavior is not permitted.
  21. Diving from the blocks is prohibited unless supervised by a swimming teacher or swimming coach.
  22. Chewing bubble gum, coloured zinc, balloons and hard balls of any description are not permitted within the facility.
  23. Please obey the pool lifeguard direction at all times. Refusal to obey verbal instructions of lifeguard will result in removal from the facility.
  24. Please do not block the facility emergency exits with items such as prams, strollers, bags, tables and chairs. For effective emergency management these areas must remain clear of obstruction at all times.
